General Secretary of the World Communion of Reformed Churches

The World Communion of Reformed Churches (WCRC) is seeking a General Secretary to be the Chief Executive Officer of WCRC who will be responsible to the General Council and the Executive Committee to direct and coordinate the work of the Communion.
Applicants must:

• be an ordained clergy of a member church
• be able to provide spiritual leadership
• have a firm commitment to the Reformed faith
• have appropriate theological training
• have demonstrated skills in team-work, management and communication
• have experience in, and a commitment to, the ecumenical movement
• have familiarity with current international issues
• have sensitivity to cultural and theological diversity, gender issues and youth concerns
• have fluency in English; knowledge of French, German and/or Spanish would be an advantage.

The recommended application date is not later than December 31, 2012.
The appointment will be made in May 2013, and the successful candidate will assume the position in early 2014.
